These terms cover your use of the Noxreset iOS app. By installing or using Noxreset you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Acceptance

Noxreset is provided by an independent developer ("we", "us"). Downloading, installing or using the app means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Noxreset on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute or resell the app or any part of it, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Not a medical service

Noxreset records nighttime sound and produces wellness observations from it — snoring-like events, pause-like quiet intervals, estimated night states and a sleep score. These are inferences from a microphone signal, not clinical measurements. Noxreset is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and is not a substitute for professional advice. Never disregard or delay seeking medical advice because of something you saw in this app. If a pattern concerns you, or you have daytime symptoms, consult a qualified clinician.

Recording others

You are responsible for how you use the microphone. Laws on recording audio differ by country and by state. Do not use Noxreset to record any person who has not agreed to be recorded, and do not use it in any setting where recording is unlawful.

Your content and your device

Recordings, reports and notes created by Noxreset are stored on your device and belong to you. Because they are stored locally and we operate no account system, we cannot recover them for you — if you delete the app, wipe the device, or lose it without a backup, that data is gone. Keeping backups is your responsibility.

Advertising

Noxreset is free and supported by advertising served through TopOn and the ad networks it mediates. By using the app you accept that ads will be shown, and that those partners process data under their own policies as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not control and are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the sites they link to.

Acceptable use

Do not use Noxreset to break any law, to infringe anyone's rights, to interfere with or disrupt the app or its underlying services, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system.

Availability and changes

We may add, change or remove features, or stop distributing the app, at any time. Some features depend on services provided by Apple and by third parties, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Disclaimer of warranties

Noxreset is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that detection will be accurate, or that any alarm or notification will be delivered — iOS may delay or suppress background activity and notifications.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, sleep, revenue or missed wake-up, arising from your use of or inability to use Noxreset. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case the exclusions apply only as far as the law permits.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Noxreset. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, and the date at the top will be updated. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.
